The Isle of Wight

There is a large amount of conflict on the Isle of Wight to do with coastal erosion, it does not affect students as well as tourists as they might not live on that area. . The council are responsible as they can change what the tax money (for the people) can be used for. Residents could disagree with the council as they could loose land and property as well as the fact that they are paying the taxes.Fishermen and boats owners would also disagree as the boats could scare the fish away.

The main disagreement is between the ecologists, environmentalists and the SSSI. These conflict with fossil hunters as they try to dig up the fossils while the rest  are trying to protect the coast.
